Year 1984, Michael Jordan already known basketball player Chicago Bulls signs a contract with Nike which provides for the release of a sneakers with his name, which would change the rules on both the basketball court and outside. In fact, the first Nike Air Jordan were banned because they clashed with the regulation of the NBA at that time: the race uniform including t-shirt, shorts and shoes, had to be in line with corporate colors. However, the ban helped the growth of the cult of sneakers and therefore of sneakers on a global level. Among the various releases of new Jordan models, Nike wanted to take off the famous Swoosh smudge so that the Jordan line would take flight. In its place took over the redesigned "Jumpman" logo to give a more refined but at the same time minimal touch.
